Hello! My name is Medy from the Philippines! I'm a certified TEFL instructor. With more than 10 years of experience as an ESL teacher, my style of teaching centers on my student's learning style. With different techniques and some experimentation coupled with creativity, we can adjust the learning pace accordingly to student's preferences in order to find out which method works the best. Learning languages (especially English) online can be a real challenge so I'm here to help you make things way easier in an exciting and energetic way. Like you, I learned another language as I grow up, so I completely understand and appreciate the challenges involved. My style of teaching is conversational and interactive. My classes are individually designed according to students’ goals and needs. In general, most lessons are conversational and lesson materials are tailored to the needs of the student. Lessons are fully customizable according to the needs and level of the student. Supplemental m...
Greetings! I should love to be your teacher so that your English can become confident and colourful at a sole swoop. My name is Tom, an English teacher, having led 3000+ online lessons, 3000+ face-to-face lessons, and 200+ group lessons. I am fully aware that learning languages, especially English, is vastly time-consuming, not to mention the infinite deal of effort that inevitably needs to be put therein. Obviously, since we humans have no USB ports through which we can absorb much information in a blink of an eye, mastering a tongue does not happen from one day to another – it is a longsome and gradual process. Even for the most talented English-learners, bettering their level from elementary to advanced takes AT LEAST a full year – if not longer –, provided that they incessantly remain determined and hard-working in the meantime. Therefore, English courses offering to perfect your English to such heights where the sky is the limit within a ridiculously short amount of time all...

Hello Friend! I hope you're having a great day! My name is Brent and I am from Santa Rosa, California. My hometown is in the California wine country, a beautiful place with outstanding weather. I have lived in Japan for thirteen years. I lived in Osaka for one year and then moved to Tokyo. I came to Japan because I am a poet and I love haiku. Japan is a wonderful country that has changed me in many positive ways. And the sushi...wow. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Poetry with a Minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. My interests include haiku, hiking, comedy, studying Japanese, reading, food, traveling, baseball, and music. I am a very curious person and I enjoy learning about others' hobbies and interests. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges involved with learning languages, which helps me address student concerns and needs ...
I have a B,A. in Biology and a M.A. in Math Education. I taught math, science and computers for 21 years at the junior high and high school levels and I taught computers to business students at the college level.. Once I retired, I began teaching English to students since I moved to Mexico and people were asking for help with their language skills. I am learning a new language so I understand the difficulties people face and that makes me a compassionate and caring teacher. I also have a great sense of humor.
*Specific needs* If you want advanced classes such as IELTS training and exam preparation, please be advised that I cannot teach at the advertised rate; high preparation time means I cannot justify the hourly rate. Please also aware that lessons for children will cost more due to increased planning time. *Class Length* Please be aware that I teach 45-minute classes rather than 1 hour. This is because research (and my experience) shows that concentration can only be maintained for a certain amount of time, and the student isn't necessarily getting value from the last 15 minutes of a 60-minute class. The shorter class time is reflected in my prices. ---------- I am a CELTA qualified, professional English teacher, with experience teaching people from diverse backgrounds, from wealthy businessmen to fishermen in Malaysia. I have worked for private language institutes and public schools, as well as designing and delivering courses for charities I have worked for. I love to develop fri...
Hello! My name is Mr. Kat Rogan. I am a native English speaker from the United States and I have been a professional language trainer for over 14 years for all age groups and levels of learning. I started teaching English in China at Dalian Maritime University in 2006. Since that time I have traveled to many countries, and have met and talked to just about every nationality you can think of. As and traveler, educator, and avid learner, the biggest thing I can say I have discovered about myself during this time: I really love languages and cultures. For me, learning languages and about people and their heritage is the "spice of life." This is what truly drives me to be a better person, keep moving forward, and improve at all levels of my life - every day. It's interesting, during these travels and experiences of the past decade-and-a-half, I have learned how to say basic concepts and greetings in at least 10 languages, which is a lot of fun and a big talking point in my day...
