Hello, Verbling Friends. My name is Bill. I have been teaching Korean to beginners online and offline for 3 years. I graduated from Cameron University, Oklahoma, USA. My major is called International Languages which the students choose two foreign languages to study. I speak English, Korean, and Spanish. I have various experiences of language learning. So, I understand how frustrating language learning is whenever students face problems and their language skill is not being improved. My teaching program has four sections. Each program also has particular materials for students. You can choose one of them for your lessons below: 1. Regular Course: it covers all parts of learning from the beginning: reading, grammar, speaking, listening, and writing. 2. Focus on Grammar: If you have some knowledge of Korean and want to recall what you learned, this is the good option to choose. 3. Pronunciation Doctor: this is for someone who is not confident with their Korean pronunciation. I use a book that helps learners improve their pronunciation. We listen audio files and practice together during the lesson. 4. Free conversation: In this section, we talk to each other freely in Korean. I deliberately speak slowly to students so that they become confident of their listening, understanding, and eventually speaking. My philosophy for language learning is simple: it should be funny. The reason why is that it requires long hours of practice and repetition. Sometimes, students lose their interest in learning more, but when you begin to speak, understand the language, and deliver your message to native speakers, the feeling is amazing. Trust me. I saw many people who challenge other languages afterwards. I am also one of them. Please feel free to ask, and do not hesitate to make class reservation. Thanks all! See you soon!

** My schedule is very flexible. So if you don't find a right slot on my schedule, please contact me to work it out together :) Hello, こんにちは, 你好! Hallo! 안녕하세요! I am Woncheol. Everyone has their own reasons to learn Korean. I am learning German now because i want to work in Germany. What is yours? Why do you spend your time and money on Korean learning? No matter what it is, I would love to hear your stories behind it. ************************************************************* < Beginner > Step 1. Focus on Korean Alphabet and useful phrases that you can use right away while you are traveling in Korea such as how to ask for the direction and how to talk to the taxi drivers. No complicated grammars. Step 2. Focus on very basic but essential grammars that will help you build the sentences in Korean by yourself. You will see yourself gradually being able to make sentences in Korean. 3. If you are upper-beginner, we will add reading the short & easy conversation together to the lesson. I will explain the grammars, the meaning of words and correct your pronunciation. I will get you ready for the intermediate level. < Intermediate > Step 1. You will learn how the native actually speaks by reading the fun and interesting dialogue together. You will explain to me what it is about and we will try to talk about the same topic more deeply. Step 2. And if you feel comfortable with the dialogue I provide, then we will combine more complicated topics such as education and politics (or basically any topic in your interest) into our lesson. < Advanced > Step 1. We will always start with the "warming-up time" where we talk about our days and plans for the weekend. Step 2. We will use the Korean news. I will give you the link to the news in advance so that you can prepare yourself for the discussion. (Or any other topic in your interest.) < For everyone > 1. I use my own teaching material but you are always welcome to bring the questions that you had outside the lesson. 2. After the lesson, I will always send you the powerpoint file that we used during the lesson so that you can review our lesson. 3. My schedule is very flexible so please feel free to contact me if you can't find the right schedule on my profile. We can talk it out together.

Hello, My name is Euisook Kim. In 2009, I completed the course of teaching Korean as a foreign language to foreigners at Yonsei University. After completing the course, I have more than a year of experience teaching Korean language to different nationalities such as Italian, American, Singaporean, Chinese and Mongol students. My method of teaching includes daily conversation, newspaper articles, K-pop, K-drama and using textbook materials. Then I will correct sentences grammatically and teach you more relevant words. I have lived in many countries in the world like Switzerland, China, U.S.A and Philippines which is helping me to understand different accents. During my stay in Switzerland many people helped me to learn Italian and German. Through that experience, I understood the culture of other countries and at that time I decided to teach Korean to foreigners someday. Now I think I have a chance. I hope I can help you in improving your level and make you speak better. I am teaching on www.preply.com as well.
