Hello there! Ciao!
My name is Virginia and I am a 25-year-old Italian girl. I was born and raised in Italy, and I am from a little town near Rome, the Italian capital. I have a BA in Communication and Media Studies and a Minor in Creative Writing. I studied at John Cabot University, the American University of Rome. After obtaining my BA in 2016 I worked for a full year as an HR Assistant, but I decided to keep studying. So I moved to Dublin and in September 2017 I started an MPhil in English Literature (Trinity College Dublin). I recently graduated and came back home in Italy, where I am now working as an English Teacher for InLingua (in the city of Velletri) and for the British Institute (in the town of Latina). I teach English to kids and adolescents.
I teached Italian when I was living in Dublin, as a part time job to support myself as a student. I organized and supervised conversation classes and I also worked as a Teacher Assistant (TA). My main tasks were to correct grammar exercises and written texts.
About my teaching style, I was trained by InLingua so I mainly use the InLingua method, but I believe that every person is different and has different backgrounds. Thus, I prefer to organize the lesson according to the needs of the person. For example, if you speak good Italian but you need help with the writing process I can help with grammar, spelling etc. While if you have the opposite problem we can focus on speaking and pronunciation. It really depends on your own needs :) Please feel free to contact me to obtain any information you need and do not be afraid to ask any question. I will be happy to clarify any point or give you more information. A presto!
