I am a Canadian citizen who left a successful corporate IT career to become a career English teacher abroad. I have traveled to around 30 countries so far and have been living in Asia for over 4 years now.

I am responsible and reliable, and I take my position as teacher very seriously. My students' success and satisfaction is very important to me. I maintain a strict work ethic as well as a healthy lifestyle. I'm very organized and detail-oriented so no question is too simple" or "specific" for me as your teacher.

My unique blend of Information Technology and practical English teaching skills, coupled with my extensive corporate work experience and also academic qualifications make me particularly well-suited to teach English to online learners.

Prior to making a change of career to become an EFL teacher, I was a seasoned I.T. career professional working in the US as a client-facing consultant in a variety of technical support and implementation roles. I have worked with all levels of employees as both an employee and a client-facing consultant, and am known for my excellent communication and rapport-building skills. Much of my corporate experience involved having extensive written and verbal communications with a variety of technical and non-technical personnel such as sales, marketing, admin, technical, HR, medical, military, and so on. This real-life professional career experience means that I know what you need to learn and do in order to use the English language as an effective and efficient communication tool in a variety of professional roles.

Similarly, being well-traveled and with a passion for studying foreign languages and learning about other cultures while building friendships around the world means that I can help you learn how to communicate informally in English in a natural way as well.
