Hi everyone! My name is Gayle and I am an enthusiastic, motivated English teacher from the North East of England. I have a TEFL qualification and a PGCE in modern languages. I taught languages in secondary schools in the UK before moving to Spain and I have been teaching English to Spanish students here for about 10 years. I teach everything from beginners to advanced English and have taught a range of ages and abilities. My main focus has been improving speaking confidence and fluency but I also teach exam preparation and business English.
I am patient, friendly and helpful, that is what I am here for to help you achieve your English learning goals. I like to base lessons around speaking as I feel that is the best way to improve your confidence but I also use a whole range of interesting authentic materials such as video and articles. I can also help with your writing and we will study grammar as we go along, the most important thing is for you to be speaking. Each lesson is prepared with you in mind, we will study what you need based on your interests and needs.
Outside of the classroom I enjoy walking, mountain biking and cooking with my family, I live in Spain so also speak Spanish, I speak a bit of German and French. I love music and I am learning to play the guitar.
