Hi, my name is Isobel.
I am a native English speaker from Nottingham which is in England. Not only do I have a TEFL qualification, but I'm also a qualified teacher with thirty years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have supported primary aged children (5-11) and secondary school students (11 to 18) to reach their goals. I have also helped children from countries such as Syria, Russia and Poland to learn English as a second language.
I am passionate about working with children and young people as I enjoy helping them to be successful, but I am also capable of working with adult learners.
My teaching style is relaxed and I am sure you will find my lessons fun and engaging. My approach to language learning is a conversational style with error correction.
I am really only interested in helping students with their English through conversations, discussions and debates. I believe that, no matter how much grammar and vocabulary you possess, if you lack the confidence to speak then it's like you know nothing at all.
