Hello, everyone! Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is David and I am a native English speaker form California in the United States. I have spent the past five years teaching English abroad in Japan and look forward to teaching so many more new students here. Language learning should be fun and relaxed but also based on goals to achieve. I enjoy working together with students to reach their goals and to use English as the communication tool it is supposed to be, more than just as a subject in the classroom.
I have a bachelor's degree in Single Subject English teaching with and emphasis in linguistics, a B.A. in Japanese, and a certificate for Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from San Diego State University. I also have N2 level certification in Japanese and an M.A. in Humanities from Sacramento State University.
No matter if you are at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level, I am confident we can reach your goals in English together.
