I spent more than twenty years working fulltime for the most reputable International organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina such as the United Nations, IFOR (British Military Contingent), European Police Mission, OSCE and International BiH Census Monitoring Action. Most of the time I was employed as a Language Assistant (Translator/Interpreter) for Bosnian language. My last full-time engagement finished in May 2014.
Apart from employment with the above missions, for many years I have been successfully cooperating with Lionbridge (Bosnian Google Team) and some other translation agencies as an English to Bosnian linguist.
With regard to linguistic and IT skills, I passed the Cambridge Educational Services Overseas Limited (ESOL English Test) – British Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) – ECDL Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The United Nations English Language Proficiency Certificate awarded in 1999.
PS: Oh yes, why shouldn't I help you about Croatian, Serbian, and Montenegrin as well?
I just need a second or two more to find the right solution in these languages. After all, official and equal languages in Bosnia and Herzegovina are Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian.
