I am a native English speaker and certified teacher from Ontario, Canada. I have completed the 120-hour Advanced TESOL Certification Course and Teaching Business English Course from ONTESOL. I have lots of teaching-related experience, including tutoring and teaching elementary and high school students, as well as workshop development and facilitation for adult learners.

I believe very strongly that learning a language comes through practice using it. I think that the best topics to learn are the ones that are relevant to your everyday life. Learning those first will help you start practicing right away and start seeing rewards early-on. I use a communicative approach to language learning, which means that language is learned within a useful context from everyday life.
