I am certified in TESOL and Teaching Business English. I have been teaching English on Verbling for over 2 years and over 6 years all together, in Costa Rica, which is where I live. I am from Massachusetts in the US. I am fluent in Spanish.

I am like a chameleon: my teaching style is very adaptable. I always have a lesson prepared but I am also good at changing the activities if I see that that’s what you need. In my classes, I generally emphasize speaking activities since getting fluent speech tends to be one of the more challenging parts of learning any language. I take pride in giving students what they need to take their English to the next level in a fun but demanding way.

Tengo certificación en TESOL y TBE (Enseñanza de inglés de negocios). Tengo casi 4 años de experiencia enseñando inglés en Costa Rica, donde vivo. Yo soy de Massachusetts en EEUU. Mi español es completamente fluido, lo cual puede ser muy útil si este es su idioma nativo y su inglés se encuentra en un nivel básico o principiante.

Yo soy como un camaleón: mi estilo de enseñanza es muy flexible. Siempre planifico mis clases, pero también no dudo en cambiar las actividades si veo que eso es lo que usted necesita. En mis clases, generalmente enfatizo en actividades de expresión oral porque llegar a hablar de forma fluida tiende a ser una de las partes más retadoras de aprender cualquier idioma. Me siento orgullosa de poder brindar a los estudiantes lo que ellos necesitan para llevar su inglés al próximo nivel de una forma divertida y a la vez exigente.
