I’ was born in a small town in China in August 1989. My parents were both teachers in a middle school before retired. I am a person with strong learning ability and full of enthusiasm for work and life.
In June 2010, after studied for four years, I graduated from the Hunan Normal University in China (majoring in Chinese Linguistics & Literature in the College of Liberal Arts), and got my degree of Bachelor of Arts and teaching certificate as a Higher Chinese Language teacher in China.
Then I passed the interview of MOE of Singapore, and was assigned to Cedar Girls’ Secondary School as a Chinese Language teacher. At the same time, I was also responsible for planning and organizing the Mother Tongue(MT) biweekly activities (Chinese New Year celebration activities) of the MT department of the school, so that students could have a better understanding of Chinese cultural traditions through activities like paper-cutting, painting masks, learning calligraphy, listening to lectures, making dumplings and so on. Meanwhile, I was also the person in charge of the school's Chinese proficiency test (HSK). In this process, I also gained a lot.
Singapore is a diverse country, with teachers and students all from different countries and ethnicities. More than 3 years working experiences in Cedar not only made me to be a teacher who loved by my students, colleagues, and superior officers; and also has exercised my various aspects of comprehensive ability.
