안녕하세요 ! 전 뉴욕에서 온 92년생 존이라고 합니다. 한국어 배운지 2.5년 됐고 요즘에 일본어 배우기 시작했어요. 스페인어를 3개월 동안 배웠는데 이제 천천히 공부하고 있어요. 최근에 음악 이론과 피아노 배우고 있습니다. 취미는 영화 보기, 농구, 음악, 책 읽기, 친구들끼리 수다를 떨면서 커피 마심, 그리고 외국어를 공부하는 거예요.

Hello, my name is John and I was born in 1992. I have been learning Korean for 2.5 years and began learning Japanese lately. I learned Spanish for about 3 months, but it’s currently on the back burner. My interests are watching movies, playing basketball, listening to and making music, reading books, drinking coffee while sharing stories with friends, and of course learning languages.

에콰도르에서 3개원동안 영어를 가르쳤고 한국에서 1년 동안 가르쳤습니다. 그 외에는 3년 동안 언어교환으로도 따로 따로 영어 과외 수업으로 가르쳤어요

I taught English in Ecuador for 3 months (2015) and Korea for 1 year (2017). I have also taught English for almost 3 years since beginning Spanish through language exchange and private lessons.

학생이 외국어 공부하는 목표를 잘 알고 있을 땐 가장 효과적인 그 언어를 배울 수 있는 순간이 일어나요 .훌룡한 선생님은 모국어를 잘 가르칠 수 있는 사람일 뿐만 아니라 언어 습득에 대해서 잘 알려주는 사람이에요.

I believe the most effective language learning happens when the language learner has a clear idea of their own goals. A great language teacher will not only teach the student the language it, but teach the student how to identify and streamline the more minute processes of language learning itself.

저 한국어 또 영어로 가르칠 수 있기 때문에 초급, 중급, 고급 학습자 전부 다 환영합니다.
My classes are intended for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners of English.

수업마다 핵심이 달라질 수 있어요. 학생 수준에 맞게 수업 내용이 바뀔 수 있고요. 말하기, 듣기, 쓰기, 읽기, 발음, 회화, 등 아무 식으로나 공부할 수 있습니다. 학생이 원하는 건 제일 중요해요.
선생님이라도 제가 외국어 독학으로 공부해서 학생들이 들고 싶은 수업을 잘 알고 있는 것 같습니다!

The focus of each class and its content will be tailored to the individual’s specific needs. This may be conversation practice, accent training, book reading, TOEFL study, essay writing, and any other type of class possible! I am a teacher, but also a flexible language learner, so let’s have fun!
