Hello! Welcome to Verbling! My name is Lauren, and I am excited to help you with your English! I know that learning a new language can be very difficult. When you cannot say what you want to say, you sometimes feel frustrated or embarrassed. This is normal! I will make sure that you feel comfortable, have fun, and most importantly: learn! I will create a lesson that is made especially for YOU and your learning style, and your interests.

Maybe you want conversation practice, or you want to improve your pronunciation! We can do that together. We can also review tenses and grammar that you learned in the past, or learn something completely new. We will talk about phrasal verbs and I can teach you my favorite phrases and idioms. My classes will be "a piece of cake". (That means very easy) Don't worry about making mistakes because that's what learning is all about. If you aren't sure, take a trial class with me! We can talk about your goals, I'll tell you about my classes, and you can decide if I am the right teacher for you.

Hola! Quiero ayudarte con tu ingles. Yo sé que puede ser dificil aprender una idioma nueva. Estoy seguro que te sentirás muy comodo en mi clase. Podemos practicar la conversación, revisar tu tarea de otra clase, aprender tiempos verbales, o frases comunes en ingles, y mucho mas. Tengo muchas ganas de conocerte!

Experience:
I currently work at an English school in California, where I teach teenagers and adults. I have my Bachelor's degree in Spanish with a Minor in Education. I received my International TESOL certificate in Costa Rica, (this means I am certified to teach English). For fun, I love to travel, play video games, read, go to the beach, and play with my dog!
