As an international educator, I feel passionately about learning being meaningful to you. Doing repeat practice from a workbook won't help you learn a language. Rather, I see learning as a team effort between teacher and student.

First, we will figure out three things:
1. what you know (diagnostic assessment)
2. what you need/want to learn
3. what your goals are.

Then, I will plan lessons to help to fill the gaps in a fun, meaningful way. I would like you to be involved in the planning process so that you have complete ownership over your learning.

My experience as a classroom teacher in English-immersion environments has allowed me to understand how people learn the English language and add tools to my toolkit for language teaching. My experience as Curriculum Coordinator in 2016 allowed me to look in-depth at curriculum for English-immersion instruction, and work with teachers to provide the best education possible for students.
