Hello! My name is Maya and I am from Seattle, Washington! I have worked in schools for over 15 years and have taught English in the US and in Spain. After completing an M.A. in Education (TESOL and Spanish) from NYU I worked as an ESL and Spanish teacher in the NYC public schools.

My classes are interactive and provide plenty of opportunity for practice with authentic American English. I will personalize your classes depending on what you need practice with--from speaking and accent practice, to Cambridge prep and I have experience preparing students for IGCSE and IELTS exams.

I teach students with a minimum of A2 level (high beginners).
