Sobre mí

Hello! My name is Mikayla McCleese and I have been an online ESL teacher since November of 2018. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Marketing, with experience presenting, editing, and proofreading business reports and a 120 hour TESOL certificate. My experience so far has been teaching children and teens, but I would also be glad to teach adults as well as business English. I consider my teaching style very upbeat and positive, with utilization of many props as well as TPR when appropriate. My approach is to encourage first and correct when necessary, but in a way that is positive so that my students stay motivated. I believe language learning is best achieved through repetition, and that reviewing should always be done before moving on to a new topic. I am a very passionate teacher and I hope to show you how fun English learning can be!
