Hello everybody. My name is Monica, and I am a Romanian living in Paris. I started teaching English 3 years ago, and then I saw there are people who want to learn Romanian. I was so happy for that, because I believe Romanian language has a lot to offer. Like you probably know: one cannot separate a language from its culture. So, while learning Romanian I will give you some nice insights about Romanian lifestyle.
My philosophy is that language is not just a set of grammar rules, but it is a tool for communication. This is what language is for: communicating with one another, sharing experience, feelings and of course: information.
I use diverse materials to help you study: from short texts, exercises, images and videos. You will not get bored! Depending on your areas of interest and language level I can make you some good recommendations regarding: music, books, movies, newspapers, etc.
My teaching style is very flexible, because I believe the teacher should comply to students needs. So tell me, what would you like to know? how to you like to study? what is your learning style?
Do you want to learn about Romanian literature and be able to read Eminescu?
Do you need Romanian for your career?
Would you like to impress your Romanian girlfriend/boyfriend with some new words?
As you could see, this is not about me, it is about you.
