Hi! I'm Zoe and I'm a professional English teacher from the UK.
I am from Cheshire in the north of England.
I'm a TEFL qualified teacher with a GA Level 3 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I am also a graduate in Modern Foreign Languages, with a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Leeds.
I love travel and have visited many countries all over the world including many parts of Asia (China, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Japan, South Korea etc.) and have extensively travelled in Europe (I even lived in Spain for one year and in France for 6 months!).
Before becoming a professional English teacher I worked in the marketing profession.

Me as a Teacher
I am a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) GA Level 3 qualified teacher, having undergone a 120 hour course.
I decided to become a professional teacher because I not only love travel and meeting new people from different cultures but I am passionate about educating others. I believe teaching is a powerful tool that when done in a certain way can inspire others and allow them to pursue their life goals - especially when the student embarks on learning a new language.
I have been teaching English online now for over one year. I have a variety of students from beginners to advanced - all with unique requirements. I think this is what makes teaching so exciting.

My Lessons & Teaching Style
Firstly, I am a friendly and personable teacher with an encouraging attitude - my lessons are focused on making you feel confident and comfortable with your English language learning progression, whatever level you are at and whatever level you are aiming to achieve.
I will cover the following topics:
- Grammar
- Pronunciation
- Accents
- Vocabulary
- Intonation & tone
- Conversation (general conversation & specific topics)
- Business English
- Interview preparation
- Writing styles (formal letters, report writing etc.)
- Exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge exam etc.)

My teaching methods are always adapted to the individual student's learning style - which I will aim to uncover in the first few lessons. My aim is to create and deliver useful and inspiring lessons that are also fun!
